"Thank you," Andrew said as the man helped him to his feet. "That is true." He smiled softly. "I will be there," he admitted. Although, if Charles was going to be there, it might be a more pleasant affair. "Well, I think you have seen the worst of it."

The cottage, as he said, was not far. It was a modest thing. Definitely not the place most would expect to find the son of the King. It had been the home of the horse master of the court. Since the man had died, years before, Andrew kept the place up and used it as a sanctuary of sorts. He opened the door and ushered Charles inside. Andrew had some clothes there.
